Because of expected heavy rain and lightning, the Graduate School Hooding ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. today indoors at Richardson Auditorium in Alexander Hall, rather than on Cannon Green.
The procession has been canceled, and graduates and their faculty advisers should report directly to the auditorium.
Unless conditions are judged unsafe, guest seating will still be available on Cannon Green, where the ceremony will be broadcast on two large screens.
Those wishing to watch indoors may go to simulcast locations Dillon Gym, McCosh Hall rooms 10 and 50, and Dodds Auditorium in Robertson Hall.
The ceremony will be streamed live on the University's Media Central website.
