The "Profiles of Young Chemists" video series highlights graduate and postdoctoral students in Princeton's Department of Chemistry conducting research in various areas of chemistry. In the first video, graduate student Julia Kalow discusses her journey from a childhood interest in science to her work at Princeton creating reactions that produce useful molecules. Her work takes advantage of shared, core University resources such as the instruments in the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Laboratory, which can provide detailed information about the structure, dynamics and chemical environment of molecules.
More news about the chemistry department, including the second video in the "Young Chemists" series, can be found on the department's website.
