The defense and the prosecution have rested.
The jury made up of 12 people walked into the jury room, as they were
about to decide if a young man was guilty or innocent of murdering his
father. The case appears open and shut – all the physical evidences and
the testimonies by witnesses pointed to the 16-year-old boy’s brutal
crime. However, one juror’s dissent based on reasonable doubt soon
turned the cast into a huge debate between each of the jurors’
prejudices.
Can they bury their preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and
each other, and reach a unanimous verdict? What is the value of justice?
