Through her senior thesis, Arielle Rivera, vice president of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, is exploring how Puerto Rico can make its electricity supply more resilient to climate disasters while meeting its ambitious energy goals.

Samuel Lyman, Graduate Student

Inspired by the TV show "The West Wing," Samuel Lyman combined his love of politics and writing to become a speechwriter. Now he's working toward a master's degree in public policy at the School of Public and International Affairs.

Aneesha Manocha, Class of 2023

Aneesha Manocha, selected as a Kanders Churchill Scholar, is studying electrical and computer engineering and plans to pursue a Ph.D. to model macro-energy systems.

Ella Gantman plays goalie on the women's varsity soccer team and  is concentrating in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and is pursuing a certificate in Spanish.

Kevin Tong, majoring in mechanical and aerospace engineering, aspires to design and build infrastructure to facilitate extended space travel.

Susan Redmond, a graduate student in mechanical and aerospace engineering, is part of an interdisciplinary team studying cosmic microwave background radiation. From Antarctica, the team launched a solar-power research balloon into space.
