Princeton University will require all undergraduate and graduate students enrolled or otherwise present on campus during the 2021-22 academic year to receive, and to provide proof of having received, a COVID-19 vaccine authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). As soon as students are vaccinated, they must upload their COVID-19 vaccine record into the myUHS portal.
Students enrolling or otherwise planning to be present on campus during the 2021-22 academic year must provide proof of having received their final dose of the vaccine (second dose for two-dose vaccine or one dose for single dose vaccine) by August 1.
Undergraduate and graduate students, including international students with questions about how to receive a vaccine authorized by the U.S. FDA, should visit the University COVID Resources website for more information and answers to frequently asked questions.
Medical and religious exemptions from the vaccination requirement will be granted in accordance with the University’s reasonable accommodation policies and legal requirements.
The University has not yet decided whether to require faculty, staff, and others working or otherwise present on campus during the 2021-22 academic year to provide proof of having received an authorized vaccine. However, the University highly recommends vaccinations for all employees and other members of the campus community.
