Workers accidentally cut a power line at Princeton University’s Forrestal Campus shortly after 8 a.m. Monday, June 18, knocking out power to Sayre Hall, the Print and Mail Services facility, the power house building and an auxiliary library building.
The buildings are expected to be closed for the day as repairs to the power line continue. Managers will contact employees in the affected buildings about their work hours.
With the Print and Mail Services facility at 701 Forrestal Road closed, there will be no afternoon campus mail delivery. The Digital Print Center at 201 Nassau St. and student mail and package services at Frist Campus Center are operating on a normal schedule.
Other buildings on the Forrestal Campus are not affected. No one was injured.
