Every fall, the Princeton University landscape transforms. Summer flowers give way to yellow leaves and fiery red and orange foliage, providing stunning new backdrops for the campus' architecture and familiar paths.

The autumn colors change nearly every vantage point on campus, from Nassau Street to Lake Carnegie. The video above shows a variety of these scenes. Fall foliage season may be later, but longer on warmer Earth .

The fall foliage season in some areas of the United States could come much later and possibly last a little longer by the end of the century as climate change causes summer temperatures to linger later into the year, according to Princeton University researchers. The delay could result in a longer growing season that would affect carbon uptake, agriculture, water supplies and animal behavior, among many other areas.

Major new campus sculpture uses glass and metal to evoke nature .

A monumental new glass, steel and bronze sculpture by leading contemporary artists Doug and Mike Starn was placed on the lawn of the Princeton University Art Museum this summer. The newly commissioned work, titled "(Any) Body Oddly Propped," is constructed of six 18-foot-tall vividly colored glass panels and two cast bronze forms resembling tree limbs.

Dancing and tumbling in the wind, a fall leaf gives color to the beauty of the Princeton University campus. In the fall season, the campus comes alive in orange, yellow and red, while still holding on to some green. Students put on layers of fleece, knits and flannels, or their favorite orange-and-black item.
