The Board of Trustees has approved the promotions of six faculty members, effective July 1, 2015. 

Riotta named first Pirelli Visiting Professor .

Gianni Riotta, an eminent Italian journalist and writer, will serve as the first Pirelli Visiting Professor in Italian Studies in the Department of French and Italian during Spring 2014.

Levine chosen for endowed professorship .

Michael Levine has been named the Anthony B. Evnin ’62 Professor in Genomics and professor of molecular biology and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, effective July 1, 2015.

Shelton named Butler College master .

Professor of Psychology Nicole Shelton has been named master of Butler College, one of Princeton's six residential colleges. She will begin her four-year term on July 1. 

Faculty chosen for endowed professorships .

Six faculty members have been named to endowed professorships.

Fleurbaey chosen for endowed professorship .

Marc Fleurbaey, the Laurance S. Rockefeller Professor of Public Affairs and the University Center for Human Values, will be named the Robert E. Kuenne Professor in Economics and Humanistic Studies and professor of public affairs and the University Center for Human Values, effective July 1, 2012.
