FACULTY HONOR: Deaton named Knight Bachelor .

Angus Deaton, the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professor of Economics and International Affairs, has been named a Knight Bachelor "for his services to research in economics and international affairs." The honor entitles him to be known as Sir Angus, or Sir Angus Deaton, and was announced as part of the Queen Elizabeth II's official birthday honors list.
