Two Princeton University faculty members have been selected as 2014 Pew Scholars in the Biomedical Sciences by The Pew Charitable Trusts. Sabine Petry, an assistant professor of molecular biology, and Mohammad Seyedsayamdost, an assistant professor of chemistry, were among 22 early-career researchers nationwide who will receive flexible funding over four years to help establish their research careers. Pew Scholars are selected by a national advisory committee composed of eminent scientists. Established in 1985, the Pew Scholars program supports noted scientists at the assistant professor level.
