President Eisgruber completes Asia trip with meetings in Beijing, Hong Kong

Continuing his weeklong trip to Asia after visits to Tokyo and Seoul, Princeton President Christopher L. Eisgruber traveled to Beijing on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Eisgruber met with top officials at Tsinghua University, where Princeton is opening an administrative center to support students, faculty and staff studying and researching in China.

On Friday, Nov. 1, Eisgruber visited with officials at Beijing Normal University, including President Dong Qi, and signed a collaboration agreement between the two universities. 

On Friday evening, Eisgruber attended an alumni reception and dinner in Beijing. He arrived in Hong Kong Saturday and held a series of meetings with alumni and attended an alumni reception and dinner on Monday evening.

He leaves Hong Kong on Tuesday to return to Princeton.
