Princeton University attracts a diverse mix of students with a wide variety of interests and talent. When undergraduates arrive on campus, they have numerous opportunities to broaden and deepen their pursuits.

This video features three Princeton students who are exploring their passions in distinctive ways: Jacinth Greywoode, a pianist who switched his focus from neuroscience to music; Katrina Hacker, a figure skater who competed internationally and hopes to attend medical school; and Carmina Mancenon, an international student who is committed to service in different parts of the globe.

Nine students have been named winners of the 2013 Spirit of Princeton Award, which honors undergraduates at Princeton University for their positive contributions to campus life. He is majoring in English and earning a certificate in theater and dance.

Showcasing student engineers' diverse pursuits .

In an effort to communicate the breadth of achievements and interests of its students, Princeton University's School of Engineering and Applied Science has created a series of posters and an online gallery profiling more than 30 graduate and undergraduate students.

For valedictorian Fleming, links across disciplines helped forge path .

Nathaniel Fleming's focus on the natural sciences — coupled with a consistent curiosity about how different fields interact and overlap — guided him on the path to being named valedictorian of Princeton University's Class of 2012. The Eugene, Ore., native will deliver the valedictory address at the University's Commencement ceremony Tuesday, June 5.

Princeton's faculty members are known around the world for their scholarship. They include Nobel laureates, MacArthur fellows, Pulitzer Prize winners and more. In the classroom, they are inspirational instructors who are passionate about the courses they teach. Faculty members often form deep bonds with the students they mentor in undergraduate research projects.

Katrina relief efforts include helping Dillard reopen, welcoming jazz musician to campus .

Efforts by members of the University community to aid victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita are continuing both in the Gulf Coast region and on campus, while an upcoming concert will feature a major New Orleans jazz figure who has brought his talents to Princeton following the disaster.
