The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has selected six Princeton professors as fellows for 2011: Bryan Grenfell from ecology and evolutionary biology; John Storey and Ned Wingreen in molecular biology and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics; and Pablo Debenedetti, William Russel and Alexander Smits from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

As part of Outdoor Action during Orientation, 630 members of the Class of 2022 are participating in outdoor activities in locations like Harriman State Park, Shenandoah National Park and the Delaware Water Gap.

UPDATE: Nassau Street reopens after pedestrians struck in front of campus gate .

Nassau Street has been closed temporarily this morning between Palmer Square and Witherspoon Street, in front of FitzRandolph Gate, as police investigate an accident in which two pedestrians were hit by a vehicle.
