Princeton University is a vibrant community of scholarship and learning, and the core of that community is the people who live and work at Princeton.

The video "I <3 [Heart] Princeton" features some of the more than 1,100 faculty members, nearly 8,000 undergraduates and graduate students, and almost 6,000 employees at the University showing their appreciation for Princeton by making a heart symbol with their hands. From the leafy heart of campus to athletic events home and away, these individuals were eager to share their affinity for all Princeton has to offer.

Competing is 'transformative" for athletes at 2014 Special Olympics USA Games at Princeton .

Throughout this week, June 16-20, Princeton and several colleges, universities and private schools in Mercer County are hosting events for the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games — the first national games to be held in New Jersey. The University is hosting track and field events at Weaver Stadium and swimming at DeNunzio Pool.

Hindu and Muslim life coordinators named .

The Office of Religious Life has appointed coordinators for Hindu and Muslim life as part of efforts to enhance support for Princeton students from a variety of backgrounds. Vineet Chander has been named coordinator of Hindu life, a newly created position, and Sohaib Sultan has been appointed coordinator of Muslim life, both effective Aug. 15.

Ramadan happens to coincide this year with the end of Princeton’s academic year, and it’s also the 10th Ramadan on campus hosted by the Muslim Life Program (MLP). The MLP has built a vibrant, diverse and inclusive community at Princeton since it was formally established in 2008.
