A memorial service for freshman Khristin Kyllo is planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, in the Princeton University Chapel. Kyllo, of Vienna, Va., died Jan. 13 in her Forbes College dorm room of natural causes.
The gathering will feature readings, remembrances and prayer, as well as musical selections by the Princeton University Gospel Ensemble. Remembrances will be offered by Kyllo's friends, mentors and professors. There will be an opportunity for those in attendance to share their memories as well. Purple ribbons, in honor of Kyllo's favorite color, will be available.
The service is open to members of the Princeton University campus community and Kyllo's family and friends.
Kyllo, who was a member of the University's softball team, is survived by her parents, Thomas Kyllo and Julie Kyllo, and her younger brother, Tommy Kyllo.
A funeral for Kyllo was held Jan. 22 in her hometown.

Gifts should be made payable to the Trustees of Princeton University, with Kyllo's name noted in the memo line. A scholarship fund also is planned to be established in Kyllo's name at James Madison High School in Vienna.
