Aspiring to sustain and expand its excellence in teaching and research, and to increase the University's impact on a changing world, Princeton leaders will officially launch a comprehensive fundraising campaign on Friday, Nov. 9, to raise $1.75 billion over the next five years.

More than 700 alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends gathered under banners bearing striking images and inspiring words in Jadwin Gymnasium Friday evening, Nov. 9, to kick off the University's comprehensive fundraising campaign to raise $1.75 billion over the next five years.

CASE honors Princeton communications, fundraising efforts .

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) has recognized Princeton for communications initiatives in development, public affairs and admissions and financial aid, as well as for the University's fundraising efforts.

Ainslie chosen as vice president for finance and treasurer .

Carolyn Ainslie, an accomplished financial management executive, has been selected as vice president for finance and treasurer at Princeton University. Her appointment is effective Oct. 1.

Harmon returns as director of development communications .

Justin Harmon, who served as Princeton's director of communications from 1987 to 2000, has returned to the University as director of development communications. His appointment is effective Sept. 15.

Trustees extend President Eisgruber’s tenure by at least five years .

“As the University and world emerge from a period of unprecedented challenges, the board felt it was so important to give us all the reassurance and strength of Chris Eisgruber’s continued leadership,” said Louise “Weezie” Sams, chair of the Board of Trustees.
