Princeton University has provided New Jersey Superior Court Judge Neil H. Shuster with further details concerning funding for fellowships in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and specifically for a three-year trial program known as the Graduate Funding Agreement (GFA). The information was submitted in connection with the lawsuit regarding the Robertson Foundation, which was established in 1961 to support the graduate program of the Woodrow Wilson School.

Nine Princeton faculty members are among the 180 artists, scientists and scholars selected from a group of some 3,000 candidates for the 2010 Guggenheim Fellowships.

Princeton researchers solve problem filling space -- without cubes .

Princeton University chemist Salvatore Torquato and colleagues have solved a conundrum that has baffled mathematical minds since ancient times -- how to fill three-dimensional space with multi-sided objects other than cubes without having any gaps. The discovery could lead to scientists finding new materials and could lead to advances in communications systems and computer security.

Four faculty members recognized for outstanding teaching .

Four Princeton University faculty members received President’s Awards for Distinguished Teaching. They are Neta Bahcall, the Eugene Higgins Professor of Astronomy and professor of astrophysical sciences; Elizabeth Gavis, professor of molecular biology; James Richardson, professor of creative writing; and Rory Truex, assistant professor of politics and international affairs.

Office of Admission to assume oversight of Orange Key .

To help position the Orange Key Guide Service to share information with campus visitors about new initiatives taking shape at Princeton University, administrative responsibility for the guide service will move to the Office of Admission this month.

Emergency notification system test scheduled for Oct. 21 .

The University will conduct a campuswide test of its emergency notification system beginning at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, to ensure that members of the University community can be contacted during a campus crisis or emergency.

Online vehicle registration begins Oct. 17 .

Faculty and staff members will be able to register their vehicles for University parking through a convenient online form beginning Monday, Oct. 17.
