Four Princeton faculty members will examine the political, social and environmental impact of Hurricane Katrina in a panel discussion set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in McCosh 10.
The participants will be: Larry Bartels, the Donald Stokes Professor in Public and International Affairs and director of the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics; Alan Blinder, the Gordon S. Rentschler Memorial Professor of Economics and director of the Center for Economic Policy Studies; Eddie Glaude Jr., an associate professor of religion and acting director of the Program in African-American Studies; and James Smith, a professor of civil and environmental engineering, director of the Program in Geological Engineering and director of the Program in Environmental Engineering and Water Resources.
