Sophomore Raj Hathiramani has been named a Goldman Sachs Global
Leader, which honors the academic and leadership achievement of 100
second-year students around the world. Each winner receives $3,000.
Hathiramani plans to pursue a degree in operations research and
financial engineering while obtaining certificates in Japanese language
and culture and applied and computational mathematics.
Hathiramani has held leadership positions in several student
organizations on campus, including senior writer for The Daily
Princetonian; publicity co-chair for Naacho, the University's first
Indian dance troupe; and undersecretary for the Princeton Operations
Research Society. He also is active in Orange Key, Princeton's
volunteer tour guide service, and next year will serve as a residential
college adviser.
