Bio

Vince Tuohey became president of the Princeton University Investment Company (Princo) on May 23, 2024. Prior to joining Princeton, he was an investment director at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Investment Management Company (MITIMCo).

At MITIMCo, he managed a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of funds and direct investments across multiple asset classes, including private equity, venture capital, public equity, hedge funds, commodities and real estate. Before working for MITIMCo, he was on the investment team at Littlejohn & Co., a private equity and distressed debt investment firm.

Tuohey earned his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, which he attended on an Army ROTC scholarship. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army from 2002 to 2006, where he led reconnaissance units in combat in Iraq.

Tuohey serves on the board of advisors for the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and is a member of its investment committee and audit committee. He is also a member of the investment committee for the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School (BB&N), a private PreK-12 school in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is a former term member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
