SPIA- Mariela Shaker Concert
On April 7, 2025, the School of Public and International Affairs will host an inspiring performance featuring internationally acclaimed musician, Mariela Shaker, alongside pianist Riyad Nicolas. This event is designed to integrate artistic expression with themes of resilience, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. Through a unique combination of Middle Eastern and European musical compositions and storytelling, Mariela will share her journey from Syria to the U.S., illustrating the power of music as a tool for freedom of expression and unity.
