Psychedelic Science begins again this week, with our second guest of ψ Series: Alexander Randall V.

Heard of The Doors? People are Strange, Riders on the Storm, Break on Through (to the Other Side)...

Turns out The Doors comes from Aldous Huxley's book "The Doors of Perception." The 1954 book was a written account of Huxley’s experience with mescaline, a hallucinogen with similar properties to LSD.

The man who gave Aldous Huxley mescaline? Humphrey Osmond.

Humphrey Osmond's thesis advisee here at Princeton? Alexander Randall V, our friend and speaker.
