On the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, the ravenous hurricane that decimated New Orleans, we come together in remembrance, tribute and dreams for resurrection. Co-faculty in the spring Princeton Atelier course, artists Patricia Smith, Davalois Fearon, and Paloma McGregor have led students in a collaborative creative process to build performance through poetry, dance, music, and visual art, inspired by Smith’s monumental book of poetry, Blood Dazzler. The April 25 event is a developmental staging of a new, multidisciplinary work-in-progress. Open to public; no tickets required.
