Integrating Text-to-Speech Technology into World Language Instruction
This workshop introduces both the latest research and practical applications of text-to-speech (TTS) technology in world language teaching. Participants will first explore various TTS tools for developing listening materials, gaining an understanding of their capabilities and pedagogical applications. In the second hour, they will learn how to use these tools to create recordings in their target language, applying AI-generated audio to enhance instruction.
