Hands-On Data Analysis with Stata: From Cleaning to Regression
This workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to Stata for students with no prior programming experience. Participants will learn essential skills for real-world data analysis, including cleaning messy datasets, creating meaningful visualizations, and running their first statistical analyses. The session covers data preparation techniques such as merging, appending, and recoding, constructing new variables, generating descriptive statistics, creating professional graphs, and performing linear regression analysis. No prior knowledge of Stata or data analysis is required, and all instructions will use real-world datasets with step-by-step guidance.
