Halloween Open Mic
Melange: A Journal of Prose Poetry and the Arts will host an Open Mic for Halloween! We will read spooky poems and stories for the entertainment of anyone who has the good luck to be in Firestone Plaza. Because people of any age could walk by, we won't have anything too scary - we'll keep it classy with Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven" and excerpts from Washington Irving's "Ichabod Crane" and Jane Austen's "Northanger Abbey," among other old classics. Students may also read their original creative writing. In the holiday spirit, we're planning to give out candy!
Speakers
Sylvia Onorato
Oliver Berke
All students are welcome to read excerpts
