GAASA Policy for the People Panel 1
A speaker series on engaging Princeton University students on political and social justice issues surrounding the larger New Jersey community. Through interactive panel discussions with guest speakers from the New Jersey area, we seek to spread awareness about these issues, how they impact University students, and how we can overcome them through policy initiatives and the legislative Process
Panel 1: How about the House?
Princeton students are accustomed to relatively positive housing standards. From state of the art facilities with daily janitorial services, to the constant expectation of being able to visit a brand new building every semester. And yet, the larger Princeton and New Jersey Community doesn’t share that same privilege. In this opening panel discussion on housing, Princeton GAASA seeks to lay out exactly what that disparity is, how it affects our communities, and what we can do to solve it.
