URBANUS: "Urban Village Coexistence" Book Launch

A lecture / book launch for the recently published book Urban Village Coexistence, edited by URBANUS and bilingually published in English and Chinese by Shanghai Culture Press in 2024. The speaker is Meng Yan, Principal Architect and Co-founder of URBANUS, the co-curator-in-chief of Cities, Grow in Difference, the 7th Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (Shenzhen) in 2017, from which this book project first originated. The book, a long-awaited outcome of four years of intense editorial work, collects textual and visual essays of leading thinkers on Chinese urban villages with a focus on the case of Shenzhen.
