[Rescheduling] NASA Launch Watch Party: Europa Clipper
Update October 7, 2024:
NASA and SpaceX are standing down from the Thursday, Oct. 10, launch attempt of the agency’s Europa Clipper mission due to anticipated hurricane conditions in the area. Hurricane Milton is expected to move from the Gulf of Mexico this week moving east to the Space Coast. We will reschedule the launch party when the new launch date is announced.
Original event information:
Join us to watch the launch of the largest spacecraft NASA has ever developed for a planetary mission. Europa Clipper is an astrobiology mission and its main science goal is to determine whether Jupiter’s icy moon, Europa, could support life. Come watch with your peers and colleagues. Feel free to study/work and listen in when you can. Snacks will be provided and there will be activities for anyone interested, including demos at the PUL Makerspace. No RSVP needed. We hope to see you there!
Dates and times are subject to change.
