ISLAND CONFERENCE
The ISLAND Conference serves as a forum for access technology developers, science educators, rehabilitation professionals, and educational researchers to network and share their experiences with how they have promoted the inclusion of persons with disabilities into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields of study. The 2024 program is available on the conference website and will cover a range of topics including factors that contribute to the underrepresentation of people with disabilities in the STEM ecosystem, and strategies for their education and retention. Parents, students, teachers, researchers, and anyone interested in expanding accessibility and inclusion into STEM for persons with disabilities are welcome!
