2024 GAASA Remembrance and Reconciliation Conference

The inaugural Princeton GAASA Conference will be an enriching and dynamic event that brings scholars, activists, historians, and community leaders together to discuss African American history in the state of New Jersey. This year's conference theme is "Institutional Memory and African American History in New Jersey" which brings crucial narratives of African American contributions to the state to the forefront of public consciousness. This event aims to deepen the understanding of African American life, promote meaningful dialogue, and inspire actionable change.
