SAB Presents: A Conversation with Howardena Pindell
The Student Advisory Board of the Princeton University Art Museum welcomes Howardena Pindell for their annual visiting artist talk. Pindell’s art often addresses such social issues as homelessness, AIDS, war, genocide, sexism, xenophobia, and apartheid. As part of her artistic practice, she employs lengthy, metaphorical processes of destruction and reconstruction in her canvases. It is especially exciting that Pindell’s art will be on view at the Princeton University Art Museum at the time of this program. Pindell will be in conversation with Mitra Abbaspour, Haskell Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and SAB VP of Public Programs Rhys Drout ’22.
