Paz Errázuriz: On Photography and Chilean Street Life --------------A conversation between internationally acclaimed Chilean photographer Paz Errázuriz and Princeton professors Eduardo Cadava and Gabriela Nouzeilles. --------------Introduced by PLAS Acting Director Javier Guerrero. -----------Paz Errázuriz is considered one of the most famous photographers of Chile. She uses the portrait in black and white to explore Chilean society, highlighting its raw aspects. A self-taught artist at the beginning of her career, she later studied at the International Center of Photography in New York. Paz Errázuriz co-founded the Association of Independent Photographers (AFI) in Chile and has received numerous awards, including the Ansel Adams 1995 and the PhotoEspaña prize in 2015.
