In conjunction with the exhibition Picturing Protest, Katherine Reischl, assistant professor of Slavic Languages and Literatures, and Katherine Bussard, Peter C. Bunnell Curator of Photography, discuss examples of photographs that did—and did not—circulate at the height of the 1960s protest movements in the United States, former Czechoslovakia, and former USSR.
