Dana began to dance at two years old at the Trumbull YMCA, in her hometown of Trumbull, CT. At the age of seven she transferred to Stratford Academy of Dance to continue studying dance. For 10 years she studied ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, modern, improvisation, hip hop, and Fosse. She became a competitive dancer at the age of 9, where she achieved various awards and grand champion titles. In her sophomore year of high school she competed in Miss Hal Jackson's Talented Teens CT where she won the title of Miss Connecticut. The following summer she placed fourth runner-up in the international contest in St. Martin. Dana's credits included the Trumbull High School Golden Dazzlers and local Shakespeare productions. After Dana arrived at Princeton she was excited to be accepted in BodyHype. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity the group has given her, and wants to express her gratitude for their guidance and inspiration. As an architecture major, she continues to perform the outrageous balancing act of academics and dance, but couldn’t imagine a better way to enjoy her time!
