Crystal Qian '17Former PresidentHi! I'm Crystal Qian, a freshman French horn/mellophone player from Olathe, Kansas. I'm a prospective BSE computer science major! In my spare time, I like taking naps, playing Starcraft, and posting Youtube videos of me rapping with my accordion. I'm also involved in the Princeton University Band! I love the deep sounds of the Brass Ensemble, and the more individualized focus on each instrument. Yay, PBE! |

Riley Fitzgerald '16Former TreasurerI’m Riley Fitzgerald, a freshman and trombonist from Phoenix, Arizona. Aside from playing in the Princeton Brass Ensemble, I play with the Princeton University Orchestra and the Princeton University Band, and I enjoy arranging and composing music. I plan on majoring in mechanical engineering with certificates in robotics and intelligent systems and music performance. |

Brittany Lopetrone '17Former WebmasterHey! I'm Brittany, a French Horn player majoring in mechanical engineering while pursuing interests in art, music, Japanese, and whatever other intriguing things I come across! I was born in Michigan and grew up in South Carolina, but I currently hail from a "farmette" in Tennessee, where I enjoy the company of various farm animals. |

Dennis Yi '16Joining the PBE in 2013, Dennis is a trombonist and sophomore prospective physics major from Bridgewater, New Jersey. He also appears in performances with the Princeton Triangle Club, Princeton University Players, PU Band, and Wind Ensemble. He wrote this biography in third-person himself because he likes the style, and has had dreams that made use of documentary novel and multiple-narrator techniques. He respects and somewhat fears his subconscious dream narrator for the convolutions it seems capable of. |

Lily Gellman '17Hey! My name is Lily, and I'm a drummer/percussionist for brass ensemble. I enjoy writing, hanging out with tortoises, and generally going about life as a woodland creature. Thanks for having me on board! |
|
Anna Windemuth '17My name is Anna Windemuth and I play the alto saxophone. I'm from Berlin, Germany, and plan on majoring in Comparative Literature. A quirky fact about myself is that I always show up early to appointments, even when I think I'll be late. |
|

Natalie Weires '14Former WebmasterHello there! I'm Natalie, I play the trumpet and among the things I like are alphabetizing things, books, bright colors, buttons, epiphanies, friends, hot chocolate, kittens, learning new things, linguistics (but not learning languages), math, modular origami, movie soundtracks, muffins, musicals, people that make me laugh, parenthetical statements (especially (multiply) nested ones), pasta, puns, riddles, science, sight-reading music, strawberries, swimming, rain (when it's warm out), writing (and receiving) letters, and of course, Brass Ensemble. |
|
Brandon Blau '14PercussionistBrandon is the group's percussion section leader, and for some reason didn't seem to think he needed to write a bio for himself. Maybe it's because percussion isn't a brass instrument. |
