Wendy Kopp ’89
The only woman to crack our panel’s top 25, Kopp conceived of
Teach for America as her senior thesis; it is now one of the leading public-service
projects in the country and has sent more than 14,000 recent college graduates
to teach in poor schools throughout the United States.
