During the first weeks of the course students live in a residence on the campus of the University of Bordeaux. The University is located in Talence, a suburb of Bordeaux, approximately a 25 minute tram ride to Bordeaux's old city. During our field season, we will live in a large house in the village of Marillac. Marillac, in the Charente, is a charming, but small village. Students will need to bring a sleeping bag for this part of the course.
