The `VIEW' command offers the user a selection of techniques for
visualisation of a model. Some of these techniques reduce picture
congestion by displaying a partial representation of the finite element
model. This can aid the user's appreciation of the model and, by
reducing the amount of data being displayed, may allow analysis results
to be more meaningfully superimposed on the picture.
Partial representation of the model can also be used to minimise redraw times
whilst determining a satisfactory orientation of the model.
