`RESULTS CALCULATE' is the command for performing calculations on the results that are stored in the database. Loadcases can be factored and combined to form new loadcases and existing loadcases or attributes can be scanned to find extreme results. Also, certain pre-defined calculations can be performed. The full range of `RESULTS CALCULATE' commands are shown below.

2.15.1.7 | EXTRAPOL | - extrapolate gaussian or invariant values to nodes |
2.15.1.8 | INTEGRAT | - integrate over a region |
2.15.1.9 | PERDIFF | - calculate a percentage difference between the average |
and the element values | ||
2.15.1.10 | PRESSURE | - pressures are calculated |
2.15.1.11 | P-ESTRAI | - principal strains are calculated (needs engineering strains) |
2.15.1.12 | P-STRESS | - principal stresses are calculated |
2.15.1.13 | P-SHEAR | - principal shears are calculated |
2.15.1.14 | P-YIELD | - plastic yield is calculated |
2.15.1.15 | SAFETY | - factor of safety is calculated |
2.15.1.16 | SCAN LOADCASE | - loadcases scanned for extreme values |
2.15.1.17 | SCAN SURFACES | - surfaces scanned for extreme values |
2.15.1.18 | VONMISES | - Von Mises stresses are calculated |
