PROPERTY INITIAL IPRES [icname] part press

        

This command is used to apply an initial pressure to nodes. This type of pressure acts in all directions and should not be confused with the command PROPERTY LOAD PRESSURE. As such this command is suitable only for modelling features such as initial fluid states or pore pressures in a soil.

icname = name of the initial condition, used at later references.

part = part that shall have specified pressure, line, surface, body or set.

press = pressure.

Examples:

PROPERTY INITIAL IPRES LO6 S1 1.5

Define a pressure initial condition called LO6 of 1.5 on SD1.
