FEMGEN Command only.
The primary command PROPERTY is used to define or redefine various properties associated with the finite element mesh, and is only available in FEMGEN .
In FEMGV generalised versions of the PROPERTY commands are available to allow the writers of FE interface programs to define loading data, material properties data and physical properties data, to be specific to the requirements and capabilities of an analysis program.
These definitions will be set up by the FEMGEN interface programs themselves, so that the PROPERTY commands may differ depending on the FE program environment selected with the PROPERTY FE-PROG command or by an Operating System environment variable. The monitor in FEMGEN displays the current FE program environment.
Documentation on any FE program specific commands will be contained in the Interface Manual for the relevant interface program.
Where no FE program environment has been selected, the user will operate in the NEUTRAL FE program environment (this is the default). The neutral environment can also be selected with the command PROPERTY FE-PROG NEUTRAL.
The neutral environment commands are also maintained in
the supported FE program specific environments so that
these environments may understand the neutral environment commands.
PROPERTY has the following secondary commands:
2.14.1 | PROPERTY ATTACH | - | Attach material and physical properties, |
or a local coordinate system to nodes
generated on a part. Attach time curves,
space curves, load masks, local
coordinate systems to loads.
2.14.2 | PROPERTY BOUNDARY | - | Define boundary conditions |
2.14.3 | PROPERTY FE-PROG | - | Select the FE Program environment |
2.14.4 | PROPERTY INITIAL | - | Define initial model conditions |
2.14.5 | PROPERTY LOADS | - | Define loading conditions. |
2.14.6 | PROPERTY MATERIAL | - | Define material properties. |
2.14.7 | PROPERTY PHYSICAL | - | Define physical properties. |
