The purpose of this example is to create a brick finite element model of a bearing housing. A minimum amount of information is to be typed by the user; this is achieved by the use of the translate, rotate and mirror transforms. When the profile of the housing is complete a suitable two dimensional mesh is produced in order to save time later.
