The Crush Project

The story of Crush:

PACT began The Crush Project at Princeton in February 2002 as a fundraiser for cancer research and support. Along with four sororities and the Organization of Women Leaders, PACT developed a plan for students to send, for a small fee, a bottle of Crush soda to their “crush”. The recipient could then come back to the “Crush center” and likewise pay a small fee to have their sender revealed. In its first year, the Crush Project took the campus by storm--that year volunteers delivered over 1300 bottles of crush during the week of Valentine's Day.

Crush Today:
Over the past three years, The Crush Project has grown to a national awareness and fundraising campaign in universities through the help of CancerCare and Motts (now Cadbury-Schweppes). CancerCare for Kids receives all the proceeds of the Crush Project.
