The elements in Table 3.6 should be assigned spring properties defined thus:
PROPERTY PHYSICAL GENERAL [propname] springconst direction1
The spring constant value is required in all cases, direction1 is needed for SPRING1 and SPRING2. The direction indicator is an integer 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 indicating the global X, Y, or Z translations and rotations.
