The elements in Table 3.4 should be assigned contact properties defined
thus:
PROPERTY PHYSICAL GENERAL [propname] real1 ...real7
where:
- real1 = thickness, or angle
- real2 = clearance at zero pressure
- real3 = pressure at zero clearance
- real4 = friction coefficient
- real5 = stiffness in stick
- real6 = equivalent shear stress limit
- real7 = real for the 'SMOOTH' parameter in Rigid Surfaces or Slide Lines
PROPERTY PHYSICAL GENERAL [propname] ORIENT real1 real2 real3
where:
- real1 = cos(x)
- real2 = cos(y)
- real3 = cos(z)
PROPERTY PHYSICAL GENERAL [propname] OFFSET real1 ...real6
where:
- real1 = x-coordinate for point a
- real2 = y-coordinate for point a
- real3 = z-coordinate for point a
- real4 = x-coordinate for point b
- real5 = y-coordinate for point b
- real6 = z-coordinate for point b
