DBR - Taking Over The Global Audience, One Reader At A Time 7/26/2002

Every so often, we get e-mail from a reader that blows us away. This one is pretty cool. We thought you guys would appreciate it. His e-mail is linked to his name, so drop a fellow Devil a line!

Hi, I came from China to study at Duke in 1996 and graduate with a Ph.D. degree in Genetics in 2000. During this period of time I became perhaps one of the most devoted Chinese fan to Duke Basketball and DBR. I have collected some pictures of me and Duke Basketball to share with you guys. Hope you find them interesting.

Thanks for doing such an excellent job in connecting people around the globe to our common interest in Duke Basketball, which to me is one of the most positive American symbols for young kids abroad.

Yibin Kang, Ph.D. (Duke '00)

"In the din of Cameron Indoor Stadium's student section and amid Duke's game-turning run, LaQuinta Neely had to nearly terminate her dribble as she yelled, "What? What?" to fellow guard Holly Johnson."
