Intel CPU Donation

We would like to thank Intel Corporation for the donation of CPUs in support of the multicore and manycore research which we are carrying out in the Princeton Data Center Research Laboratory. Intel has donated eight Xenon E7-2870 processors and sixteen Xenon E7-4870 Processors to Princeton University. These processors are being used to simulate future computer chip designs, explore current-day high-core-count memory systems (40 core systems), and to study power and cooling of data centers.
