Sociology 510q:  Demography and Social Structure

In this course we will look at the social consequences of demographic processes including intermarriage, differential fertility,
population aging, and demographic transitions. The emphasis of the course will be on how demographic constraints affect social
organization. A knowledge of demographic methods will be helpful but is not required.
