GUITAR PLAYING AND LESSONS
LESSONS INFORMATION
The Story
In 1992, I acquired a Gibson/Epiphone.
For over ten years, I have been dusting the case of the unused guitar.
January 2006, I made a resolution that I would learn to play that guitar.
I needed more music in my life.
Now it is 2008 and I'm still learning to play the guitar. I purchased a new concert sized Taylor this past summer and love it. It's a work of art. From family and friends comments, my instructor is doing a great job considering the material he has to work with.
I have recorded a few of my songs, details can be found by clicking the link below:

I have had a few inquiries about my instructor. Although guitar instruction is not his vocation, he is interested in taking on other students.

ARTIST RENDERING OF INSTRUCTOR
My first challenge was how to hold the guitar. This sheet demonstrates some possible misconceptions. However, a few well known guitarist do bow the guitar occasionally. And I think Hendrix did try upside-down and backwards
How NOT to hold a guitar
Robin caught me practicing a new song. I am trying to play "Blowing in the Wind."

My brother's family visited Thanksgiving 2006. I decided to learn "Puff the Magic Dragon" to play for Jamie.
I am playing it for her and she is finally singing along with me.

In the Bahamas, I was asked to play "Day is Done" for one of the sacred week's sunsets, the full moon was rising from the east, so I also sang my "Phantom Moon" Two of the "Bahama Mamas" are to my left.
